The Pigman, by Paul Zindel was actually an okay book. I was worried at first that it was going to be boring, but I was surprised to find that I actually liked it. My favorite part was definitely when John and Lorraine dressed up in the Pigman and Conchetta's clothes. It was interesting and funny. I especially liked when John was chasing Lorraine and then he kissed her.My least favorite part was when they went to see BoBo and found out that he was dead, and then Mr. Pignati died. I thought that was kind of retarded. It's just a baboon. Really, it's not that big of a deal. I just can't believe he DIED though! Way to ruin a good story.

__The Pigman_ is a very good book that I would recomend to others looking for a book to read. The author Paul Zindel is an author that thinks about his work and takes his time wrighting this book. My favorite part of the book is in the begining of the book when john is telling about how he sets bombs off in the down stairs bathroom, and when they went off the boys in there would get in trouble because they were smoking. Another good part is at the end when pigman finds out that his favorite monkey died of pneumonia he went into shock and had a heart attack and died. Then all of a sudden all the monkeys in the cages went nuts and made lots of noise, and then they just stopped.

The Best part of the book The Pigman by Paul zindel is when Mr. Pignati goes to hte zoo and feeds his "best friend" BoBo the Baboon. THe worst part is when they are at Beekman's market and they buy roller skates adn skate around hte store. i give this book a thumbs up because many people, teens and adults, can relate to it. I think that junior high students could read it. many people can relate to it in those grades but i think that it is a good choice for ninth graders to read it because maybe they would understand it more. The moral of hte story is the everybody needs a friend to lean on during touhg times. Even people who look like they want to be left alone. The plot is relevant to teens today because kids dont know what theyre getting into and once they get into it they wish they wouldnt have because somebody always get hurt.

I personally was pleased we read the novel the Pigman by Paul Zindel because I had already read it, and understood, but I also had missed quite a few parts that I am glad I know now. In the Pigman there were parts where the characters seemed to be thinking alot, and I didn't quite understand what they were thinking about, so therefore I had to read it over and accually try to understand, but on most parts I thought the book had an inspirational message about life. The book was also a very inspirational novel of life itself, the rough times, the times when you need someone, and the best times of your life. I think it shows that life really isn't just a fairy tale people put it out to be but it is hard, and there are things that may just get in your way, but you have to keep holding on, live and search for the good in people. Pigman was a story based on everyday teens who have been put through good, bad, and horrible situations when they needed help or just someone to be cheered up by, and I think this story shows that no teen is perfect at all, and we all just need to live with a positive outlook on life. So, I would suggest this book to any teen, especially someone who would ackknowledge reading it.

The novel The Pigman, by Paul Zindel, is a book I would rate an eight out of 10 and thumbs up. The reason I would give it an eight out of ten because it had many parts of suspense that made you want to keep on reading, but the ending was really strange. My favorite part of the book would be when

The Pigman is one of the better novels that I have read. I would give it a well deserved thumbs up. It deserves it because of the well thought out moral that relationships can come in and out of your life and you have to take advantage of them before there gone whether they’re stretched or close. The plot in the book was very relevant to today’s teens because they do a lot of the same things like not respecting authority and throwing wild parties. My favorite part was when they were prank phone calling people because I do a lot of things that relate to that like going t.p.-ing and ding-dong ditching. Although I liked most of the book one of the parts I did not like was when John and Lorraine go to the zoo with Mr. Pignati and they find out Bobo died because I liked Bobo. He was the coolest monkey I never met. I think that this book is best suited for high school kids because they can relate to a lot of the things that John and Lorraine deal with.

The Pigman by Paul Zindel was overall a decent book. I would gives it a thumbs up. In my opinion it's not the most exciting book but it's a book that teens can relate to today. Like doing stupid things in school such as the fart bombs, and throwing party's that aren't allowed. I would say that this is a good book to give younger middle school kids because it uses vocab that kids are unfamiliar with and can learn with the book. It's not that long so the kids will keep interested in it, and they would enjoy the story to pigman. My favorite part was when they roller skate around in a store to be funny, because it reminds me of something i would probably do. My least favorite part was probably when they went to the zoo because I had a hard time following it because it was boring.

The Pigman by Paul Zindel is a great book. Even though it wasn’t written resently teens can still relate to the problems John and Lorraine have at home and at school. Lorraine and her mother seem to get along alright, but she hides things from her mother and feels like she isn’t being treated like a human being. Teens today hide things from their parents because they’re afraid they won’t approve of them, and a lot of parents have extremely high expectations for their children. So we feel if we were to tell our parents what we want and our feelings they won’t let us do it because of what they want for us. Johns the rebel in us all. He just wants to be himself, but his parent want him to just behave and be like his older brother. One of the important morals I found in this story is that friends and family are highly important. You need them in your life no matter how angry they make you or how sad you get because they’re your friends and family they’ll always be there for you. They will always forgive you. I don’t think that there’s a certain grade level this book is appropriate for. I think any teen going through high school or middle school would be able to strongly relate to one of the characters in The Pigman.

The Pigman, written by Paul Zindel, is a fantastic novel. I would definitely give this book a double thumbs up. The characters in The Pigman are just like many teens today. Lorraine is one of those teens who is afraid to show the real her because of what her peers would think about her. John, the troublemaker, is very interesting. The qualities of a person would make him a great friend; the excitement that he brings into the day would be the major thriller of that friendship. This book could be suitable for the middle school level, only because it’s an exciting book that would make the students want to read more and more. The moral of this novel would have to be that friendships and parental relationships are very important in life, and that you should respect them as much as possible while you have the chance before they go out of your life. The plot comparing to today’s teenagers lives is very relevant. The situation that Lorraine and John had faced was the same many teens face today. I would highly recommend this book to teenagers.

In The Pigman by Paul Zindel alot of things happened. I thought this book was very very interesting. It had a good plot, and was made for teenagers to read. The best part of the book was when they first met the pigman because you got to know who the pigman was and why he was the way he was.The worst part of the book was the ending because it really didn't make that much sense and it was just a pretty stupid ending. I give this book a thumbs up because you can relate that story in real life. This book in my opinion should be a book for 8th grade through high school. The moral of the story was that you can find unusual friendships in life. And also it shows you that parents can't always show you the right things in life. To tell you the truth I think the plot was pretty much like today's teens.

In the novel The Pigman by Paul Zindel a lot of strange events happened. Lorraine and John two of the main characters end up meeting the Pigman mostly on accident. It happened when they were doing a phone marathon with Norton and Dennis. Lorraine called the Pigman and managed to get him to give $10 to the L&J fund. The next day Lorraine did not want to go collect the money but John talked her into it and that is where a great friendship began. I would give this book a thumbs up! It was a great story but I didn’t like how the Pigman died at the end but they all did cross the line in a way. The death of the Pigman in a way was Lorraine and John’s fault because they shocked him when he saw the state of his house and that they had a party with out his knowledge. The worst part though was that he was in the hospital and had come home that night probably happy just to be home and came home to that. I think that this book would be good for 7th graders to 10th graders but no older because then you would be passing the age group. I thought the moral of the story was don’t use or betray someone who you would call a friend because in the end you are the one to pay for it.

In the book the PIGMAN by paul Zindel was an alright book.the pigman was an alright book not my favorite but otherwise it was pretty good. i give it a 6 out of 10 rating. The reason i gave it a 6 was because it wasnt all that challenging but it had its parts where it was a very good book. My favorite part in the book was when the pigman,Lorraine and John were at the zoo and they started to act likie monkeys. i thought that was a good part because if i was at the zoo with an old man and was bored out of my mind i would probably do the same thing.I would reccomend this book to 7th or 8th graders because it would probably be more challenging on a younger level like 12 or 13 and im guessing they would enjoy it more than someone older than them. But overall it was a good book and i would maybe read it again maybe if i did it would spark more intrest for me in the fact that i only gave it a 6.

Paul Zindel’s The Pigman was, I thought, aimed towards a 9th grade audience, but the level of reading might have been aimed towards middle schoolers. Even though it wasn’t challenging to read it, I would give it a 9 on a 10 star rating. There were some parts that I found had no point to even be in the book. For instance, when John and Lorraine were talking about how much they hate school, it really doesn’t fit into the plot of two teenagers meeting an old man that actually treats them like teenagers, not little kids. My favorite part of the book would have to be when John, Lorraine, and The Pigman are shopping and they roller-skate out of the store. That is my favorite part because it shows that no matter what age someone is they can still have some kind of fun. My least favorite part of the book is when The Pigman dies. Its not very likely that in a book an author just kills one of the main characters, but in this one it did happen, but it made no sense to do that. When I was reading the book I thought that maybe The Pigman would have adopted John and Lorraine. Even though I really don’t like the ending, it’s an overall good book for teenagers.

I’d say The Pigman by Paul Zindel was an o.k. book. I didn’t like that it didn’t challenge me at all. I think the reading level would be meant for younger grades, but the content is geared more toward high schoolers. It talks about problems that some teens are facing today. I also didn’t like that after Mr. Pignati’s kindness toward John and Lorraine, they just betrayed his trust by having their drinking party. I could never do that to someone and I don’t know why anyone else would either. In a way, I think the book is also encouraging drinking and smoking which isn’t great. I guess on everything but those parts, I would give it a thumbs up. My favorite part of the story is when John and Lorraine meet on the bus for the first time. My least favorite part is when they betray Mr. Pignati’s trust by throwing the party. It makes me wonder how anyone could do that after all he’d done for them. I think the moral of the story is that you should do unto others as you would have done unto you before it's to late. Lorraine and John didn’t do this, but the Pigman did.

The Pigman, by Paul Zindel was written in a way I have never seen before. I enjoyed seeing things from two different point of views, although I often forgot which one was which and got confused quite a bit if I got into the story too much. I like that the book relates to everyday problems and the stupidity of the high school years and how realistic it made it seem. Everything is so true about the problems with parents and the rebellious kids at school who are just begging for attention. It’s interesting how Zindel gave such an insight into that whole spectrum of the teenage life. The overall book was good, but the sudden ending where Mr. Pignati died was odd. Books usually don’t just kill off one of the main characters. I have never read anything like it. I think my personal favorite part of the story would have to be how they go shopping at Beekman’s and roller skate around and go down the escalators. The storyline was focused around friendship and trust, and I think that that was the moral of the story. I liked the book and I think it’s an easy read. It really grabs your attention after the first few sentences. The characters are great, and the realities of their lives are great.
Paul Zindel wrote in his novel, The Pigman, about two children named John and Lorraine who accidentally meet a lonely old man named Mr. Pignati. I would give this book a thumbs up! It was enjoyable to read, and it was easy to follow the plot. The only thing I did not like about this story was the fact that through the whole book it said Mr. Pignati was going to die. It didn’t leave much suspense like most of the books I prefer to read. Despite that, The Pigman was a wonderful book to read. It was very relevant to teenagers today, because they faced the some of the same problems John and Lorraine faced. The Pigman is a perfect choice of book for 9th graders to read because it talks about some of the issues teenagers today have to deal with in their own lives, like when Lorraine talks about when she first came to her new school. I would recommend this book to most teens!

The Pigman by Paul Zindel was a great book and I would give it a thumbs up. The reason why I would give it a thumbs up is because the book never got dull, it always had something interesting going on which kept me reading. The most interesting thing about the book was that both Lorraine and John wrote a chapter, but it was like they both were writing but one was telling the story more than the other. I think this book would be good for other grades even lower grades like fifth and sixth grade because it teaches a good lesson and they could learn new words while reading. The plot was like teens lives because some teens go through some of that kind of stuff, like the death of a loved one, or having a party go out of hand. The best part was at the beginning of the story when John was writing his first chapter because of the toilet bombs and that was really funny and something I’d like to do in a controlled area. This is a good book for about anyone to read because it’s easy to read, it’ll keep a persons attention, and it’s not to long.

The Pigman by Paul Zindel, was very creative, easy to read, and provided the reader with anticipation for upcoming circumstances, throughout the book. I think the book is appropriate and uncomplicated for most anyone around 6th grade and older, to read. The best part was when John and Lorraine first met Mr. Pignati because Mr. Pignati was so kind and welcoming. He was a sweet old man who just needed to talk with someone, and both John and Lorraine needed an adult to look up to, so that’s was the point were the reader is able to see how great they are for each other. The worst part as in writing quality would be the ending because it leaves questions unanswered and isn’t very clear, but the part that was sad and hard to read was when Mr. Pignati came home to a disastrous home. Then found that the people he trusted had been the reason for it all. Although I highly disliked the ending, I would give this book a thumbs up because it is entertaining, interesting, and I enjoyed it a lot.

I would give the book The Pigman by Paul Zindel a thumbs up because I could connect with the book very easily. The best part of the book was when John and Lorraine realized that Mr. Pignati was a nice, kind, welcoming old man but still a kid at heart. John and Lorraine looked up to Mr. Pignati as a parent figure because they both came from troubling homes. The worst part was his death. After Mr. Pignati died, John and Lorraine finally realized what kind of a friend they had lost. I do not think this book would be a good choice for younger kids. They might try the toilet bombs or prank phone calls and get themselves in trouble. My opinion for the moral is sometimes you do not realize what you have until it is gone. The plot was relevant to today’s teens because some teens today do stupid things without thinking about the consequence first.

In the book The Pigman by Paul Zindel it had a very interesting plot to follow since every chapter either John or Lorraine told part of the story and each time it was a different point of view, but the main theme had a good message. I personally would give this book a thumb’s up because it has a positive theme and it was just a book i couldn’t put down. This book would be a good eighth grade book because it wasn't that long and it was somewhat difficult to follow at some points and in others was very simple. The moral of the story is to be careful how you treat people because you don't know how it could affect you and them in the future. This is relevant to today’s teens because the teens now just take advantage of older people and make fun of them as if they didn’t even care. For some reason this books purpose will stay near my heart forever.

In the book The Pigman by Paul Zindel the plot had a very interesting twist because it was all very different in every scene. In my opinion the best part so far was when it started to get really good, so that would be when John, Lorraine, Norton, and Dennis were at the cemetery drinking. They talked about the Pigman and how Norton and Dennis we’re going to “pay him a visit” that night. I would most definitely give it a thumbs up. I would give it a thumbs up because it is a very good book and it may not seem like it teaches you something in life but it really does, someone is going to come into your life and change it dramatically. I don’t think it would be a better book for another grade class, as long as you can read and you’re mature enough to understand the moral of things then you should read it. The moral of the story was to make you understand that no matter how weird you may think someone is; they could change your life if you might not even notice it. The plot was relevant to today’s teens because just like many other teens, Lorraine and John skipped school a lot, came up with stupid ideas, and drank.

In the book, The Pigman, by Paul Zindel, a boy and girl with dsyfunctional families are friends. Their names are Lorraine and John. One day while they were playing the telephone marathon, which is a game to try and get a random person to stay on the phone the longest, Lorraine calls this old man, who is called Angelo Pignati. Mr. Pignati is a lonely old man whose wife has died and who will do anything for his friends. The Pigman, as John and Lorraine call him, has a best friend named Bobo, who is a baboon. Angelo likes buying things for John and Lorraine, and he buys all three of them rollerskates for his house. This invariably leads to Mr. Pignati having a heart attack, and then learning that Bobo the baboon has died. His best friends death causes Mr. Pignati to die. This book is a good book for any person that can understand a book written by two people at once. That kind of confused me for a while, but i eventually got the hang of it. Paul Zindel didn't leave very much suspense in the book, because the reader knew that Pignati was going to die from the start. Other than that minor detail, I would say that this is a great book and one that I enjoyed reading.
Josh Kieffer
Mr. Pignati was extremely proud of his pig collection in the book The Pigman, by Paul Zindel. That is why my favorite part of the story was the first day John and Lorraine met him. He showed them his most prized possessions and they were especially important to him because they were a constant reminder of his wife, Conchetta. The worst part of this book was Mr. Pignati’s death. Always being nice and generous to John and Lorraine made him a great guy. His personality and role in their lives as an “adult parent” was the best thing that every happened to them. Having him die in the end really made me sad because he was nothing but nice to them, yet they took advantage of him. This book deserves a thumbs up it teaches a variety of lessons to teenagers. This book could be a good choice for another grade level, but it is just fine for ours. Treat others as you want to be treated is the moral of this story. John and Lorraine were just trying to get some money and have fun instead of being considerate of other people’s feelings. It backfired because they came to like Mr. Pignati and he died, so they hurt themselves by hurting him.

We just finished reading Paul Zindel’s The Pigman. This book had parts that were very attracting, that just kept pulling you into the plot, and it also had some very boring parts, but overall, I would award this novel a thumbs up for it’s content. The best part of the story in my opinion is when Pigman and the kids are all skating around and telling jokes, enjoying their life together. In my opinion the worst part of the story is when the Pigman finds out that Bobo died and then he drops dead. I think that that was a really dumb ending, and that it really stunk, but as for the rest of the book, all of the plot leading up to the ending, I liked. I think that this book might even be a better choice for the eighth grade rather than the ninth. I think that the rest of the book was good, and I would definitely recommend it for the teens today because it portrays how John acts, his feelings towards life, how he hates it, which I believe is influenced by his smoking and drinking problems. It informs them how they could be feeling due to these habits.

The Pigman is a book written by Paul Zindel. It is a book that has well defined characters that grow and change of the course of the story giving it some interesting character development. Unlike many books it could be read by almost anyone and they would probably gain some new knowledge from their reading. John is a boy whose parents generally ignore him. His father smokes and his mother is usually more concerned about the kitchen floor than for his health. Lorraine is a girl whose mother works as a nurse but is a thief, manipulator, and liar. She insults Lorraine on many occasions and the only reason she worries about Lorraine is because of the potential negative effects on her standing with others. Many parents today don’t treat their kids how they should and act badly around them. The Pigman has a shocking level of comparison with today‘s society. It is a very good book that should be read by as many as can get a copy.
Trevor Duryea
The book The Pigman was interesting and sad at the same time. It had a good meaning and story to it. In this book, it all started out how two kids, John and Lorraine made friends with an old lonely guy named Mr. Pignoiti, which they call him "Pigman". The girl Lorraine has a mom who is very over protective and strict because she doesn't want Lorraine dating and getting involved with guys so she tries to convince her that all men are bad. John's parents can be very mean some of the time. They usually always just ignore him and they don't pay attention to him hardley. They are not very good parents because they taught John that smoking was okay. After John and Lorraine meet Mr. Pignoiti, they start visiting him a lot and start to hang out with him like they are all best friends. The Pigman used to be lonely all the time after his wife passed away but now he isn't lonely much anyways thanks to John and Lorraine. One day John, Lorraine, and the Pigman went to the zoo and Mr. Pignoiti fell in love with a baboon which the monkey's name was Bobo. He treated Bobo as if it was his very own pet and had so much love for him. But then one day Bobo had passed away and Mr. Pignoiti was heart broken, again. This book made me feel bad and yet it was so fun to read.

In the book The pigman by Paul Zindel there were a variety of emotional happenings. But all of the emotional out breaks and adventurous things that happemed kept me and probably most of the readers into the story more and wnted to know what happened next. I would give it a thumps up and I would encourage anyone from 7th grade and higher to read this book. I could relate, understand, and put myself in Lorraines place because she is a girl and has difficultes. I really reall y enjoyed this book and I think anyone who has read would say it is a thumps up book. My favorite part is when john and lorraine meet the pigman becauseI knew that they were going to be changed somehow whether it be good or bad but come find out that is was good made me realived. My least favorite part was when the pigman died and also didnt like that john and lorraine decided to throw the party because I knew as soon as they said someone was coming to the door that it was the pigman and they really let him down. But over all I have read this book before and each time I gave read it it has made me interested to read it again. I really really enjoyed it!!

The Pigman by Paul Zindell was a very good book. The best part was when John, Lorraine, and the Pigman all roller-skated out of the store after the Pigman had bought John and Lorraine all those gifts. The showed a lot of compassion from the Pigman to John and Lorraine. The worst part was probably the part when the police officer caught the kids at the party drinking and brought home John and Lorraine and their parents found out about the Pigman after they had been hiding him from them this whole time. I would give this book a thumbs up because it showed what kids can do randomly in their neighborhood and make a difference. John and Lorraine started out with a harmless prank until this innocent old man bought it and accually gave them the ten dollars they wanted to a fake foundation. They then began to visit the old man after and sometimes during school. This book would be great for junior high through tenth grade because that is about the age group that John and Lorraine are in and I can get more into a book if the characters are about the same age as I because I can uderstand what is going on in their lives. The moral of the story was to be careful in the decicions that you make because later on the concequences will come back and bite you right in the rear. Now not many teens will skip school to spend time with an old man, but they do make crank calls, throw parties, enjoy the zoo, and, unfortunately, some may drink. This is the type of book that I can really enjoy and I hope to read more similar to The Pigman by Paul Zindell.

Paul Zindel’s The Pigman is a very interesting book. The ending, in my opinion, was the worst part because it didn’t make very much sense and one of the main characters had died. It was easy to read so I think the reading part could be good for middle school students, but the conflicts that go on are directed more towards high school students, but I would still highly recommend it to anyone in 7th grade or higher. In this story it proves that friends and family are a huge part of everyone’s lives and if they don’t have strong bonds with their parents it can really break them down and hurt them in the long run. No matter how old someone is or how the act at school, home, or anywhere, they all need at least one good friend that they can always count on to be there for them and John and Lorraine have found that friendship in each other and the pigman. I would definitely give this book two thumbs up because I was able to really get into it.

The worst part of the book the pigman by Paul Zindel was the ending. This was because Mr. Pignati died and there was no logical cause for his death because people don’t just drop over dead because of something dying whether it is a human or a animal. I give this book a thumbs up because the rest of the book was well written and described. This book would be best read by 7th and 8th graders do to the fact that is easy to read even though it takes place in high school. The moral of the story was no matter how old a person gets the are still human and everyone needs a friend especially when their family let's the down. Compared to many teens today the plot of the story is very important in our lives. We hang out with are friends a lot and they are like our family.

The book The Pigman by Paul Zindel was actually very interseting. Many of the things that happened in the book happen to many teen today. We have strugles with our parents, do dumb things in school, lie about things, and even have parties when we are not aloud. I wold give the hole story a thumbs up except the ending. I had no clue what he was talking about in the last two paragraphs and what did anything have to do with the bamboo. Also the ending kind of just ended abrubtly because many of the questions were left unanswered. It was pretty devistating having to learn pigman died and he was the main character. The ending was the worst part but the rest of the story get a thumbs up. This book would be best read by middle schoolers because it a shorter book that deals with many of them are going threw and would be able to be understood by them. The story had many moral too, one was that it's best just to tell the truth and not get to deep into a situtation that you can't get out of. Another is that everyone needs a good, true friend and once you find one don't misuse them. I enjoyed this book and everytime I turned the page it made me wonder what would happen next.

The Pigman is a great book that should be read in a single sitting or in someone’s spare time. I thought that the book had a ton of action and many dramatic situations. The two students in the story are only high school students that get themselves into a small amount of trouble because they go over to the Pigman’s house and drink alcohol with him. Mr. Pignati also called the Pigman by the two kids John and Loraine because of his gigantic pig statue collection that he has in a room in his large two story house. Mr. Pignati always went to the zoo everyday to feed a baboon named Bobo. Mr. Pignati died of a heart attack in the primate house when he found out that Bobo died of pneumonia a few days earlier at the zoo in his cage. When Pignati found out about Bobo dieing he let out a yell and fell to the floor from the heart attack that killed him.

The book The Pigman had good and bad parts. The best part of the story would have to be when the Pigman, Lorraine, and John all go to the store. It’s the best part of the story because it seems really fun. The worst part is at the very end because Lorraine and John start saying a lot of things that don’t really make sense to me. I would give this story a thumbs up because I really like how John and Lorraine don’t plan on becoming friends with the Pigman but do end up being friends after a while. Another quality I like about the story is how much of a kid the Pigman acts like. I like the moral of the story too which is, don’t take advantage of your friends. I didn’t like how the teens in the story are compared to teens today. I don’t really know any teens that skip school as much as they do and who drinks as much as they do. The Pigman book was a really good book and I like that this story is just fine as a 9th grade level book.

The novel The Pigman by Paul Zindel is very intertaining. I would give the book a thumbs up because you never know what is going to happen next. The ending is the only part that didnt make much sence to me. It left unaswerd questions and it just didnt make much sence to me.Teens today probly wouldnt wont to be around an old man so the plot isnt really relevant to how teens are today. The reading leavel of this book would be 5th grade to 10th grade because its not that hard to read and its east to understand so it wouldnt be hard for a 5th grader to read this book. The best part of the story is when they first meat the pigman and go to the zoo with him. It was the start of the there friendship and thats where you start to think about the outcome of the story. The worst part of the book is when the pigman comes home from the hospital and he finds his house a mess and his wifes close riped and his trasurs destroded.

Paul Zindel wrote a novel called The Pigman that was published in 1968. The best part would probley be when The Pigman takes John and Lorraine to the store and he buys them things. To me, this is a happy moment because hes having fun spending time with them and he enjoys seeing them happy. The worst part is probley when The Pigman gets out of the hospital and hes all excited to see his baboon Bobo, and when they get there, Bobo is dead. That would was the most devistating part because The Pigman soon follows in Bobo’s footsteps. Another part that upset me was when they had the party at the Pigmans house. He trusted them with all his things, and his belated wifes things, and then they would do that to that sweet old man as soon as he turns his back. Its horrible. It honestly is. This book is a good book, but would probley be better for junior high students, insteed of highschoolers. Its kind of like a warning for them, to tell them what kind of things happen as you get older, and what happends to nice old people who put to much trust into some teenagers. The moral of the story would probley be, if you have trust, keep it. Karma has a way of slapping you in the face when you least expect it.

Pigman Review
The best part of the book is when the Pigman, John and Lorraine become friends. They end up becoming really close friends. I think the worst part of the book is when the Pigman dies. I give it a thumbs up. I thought it was a pretty good book. I thought it was a good book because it was a pretty easy book to read and I though the Pigman was a nice man. I think it’s a good book for 9th graders. This is good book for 9th graders because it wasn’t too challenging. The moral of the story was about friendships, and how you can be friends with older people. It was also how parents don’t always know what they’re doing. It was relevant to today’s teens I think that stuff could be happening today like how Larraine’s mom slapped her across the face. I bet a lot of kids get slapped across the face.
